This might be the most stupid posting I’ve ever written in this blog. Apparently, some people are having trouble downloading SUPER from erightsoft.com. For those who don’t know SUPER, it is a video conversion tool. You may use it to convert videos to your S60 device. It is a good and free conversion tool. Unfortunately, the download link for SUPER is not straightforward. I have no idea why they designed their download page to be so complicated.
- First of all, visit http://www.erightsoft.com/S6Kg1.html
- You should see a link that looks like advertising that says "Download SUPER setup file". It is not advertising! It is a real download link (see screenshot below).

So i’m not the only one that thinks its a very stupid and counterintuitive way to place a download link to your product.
The first time i heard of Super maybe 2 years ago, i gave up on the website assuming maybe they took the link down.
Shame cos’ its an otherwise good little app.

I agree. It is a good application; but the web site is really confusing.

Yeap, its an excellent applicaiton, I too have wrote a small guide on how to download the application some time back. Perhaps they did it to prevent direct linking? Because now if you tried direct linking to the exe file you get some weird page…
Anyway do you know how to get subtitles encoded into the file? I have an ogg file with subtitles encoded as a subtitle track in the ogg. But SUPER doesnt seem to be able to use it though it knows it exist (from the file information).
