I’ve been getting recommendations to use CCleaner and I see here same thing. I’ll try it a see if works for me.

Thanks for the tips. I’ve had a few problems uninstalling some applications pre-installed onto my laptop (Vista Home Basic). I recently reformatted the hard drive, and it’s the best decision I’ve made for a while. Did a clean install of Vista Ultimate as well.
