It’s just last week, I posted about the lack of mobile application for Share on Ovi. Now, you can use Nokia Share Online to upload your media files to Share on Ovi.
Click here to see the tutorial of using Nokia Share Online and Share on Ovi
Click here to download Nokia Share Online 3.0
After downloading Nokia Share Online 3.0, you have to activate Ovi service. It just means entering your user name and password. It’s that easy…
After that, each time you take picture, you can just select “Post to ovi” icon (see screenshot below). You can select the icon from Camera or Gallery application.
Update (11-Feb-2008): Note that not all countries are supported by Shares on Ovi yet. Please see the list of supporting countries at this page.
Update (12-Feb-2008): Not sure if everybody else has the problem with geotagging. I noticed that the current Share on Ovi does not import geotagging information (tagged using Nokia Location Tagger) properly yet.

No matter what I do I can’t get the service to show on my N82 with Share Online 3

@Joel: Have you downloaded the latest Share Online (from the link above)?

I have indeed, uninstalled and reinstalled to be certain, updated the services, nothing. I thought originally it was because the UK was only in the available countries list (http://europe.nokia.com/A4835222) for Vox and Flickr, but then I saw that it was written as Great Britain for Ovi.

@ibbi: I think it is currently available on Nseries only. May be Eseries will be supported later.

I installed share online 3.0 but It doesn`t show any services (flivkr, ovi ,vox). I can`t uninstall it too. What can I do?

@Onur: Yes, there is a bug that you cannot uninstall a version that upgrades the old version on the device. Symbian Guru has this criticism as wel, http://www.symbian-guru.com/welcome/2008/02/share-online-30-graduates-prematurely.html

What is the application that has the shortcuts on the idle screen of your screenshots (ovi ,flickr, something “46″)
I thought that google was the only application that had access to the idle screen

@toutratus: If you have the latest Nokia Share Online, you will get that shortcuts in your idle screen. It basically shows you the status of your pictures (and your friends’) on your ovi, flickr accounts.

I think Nokia definitely needs to bring this to E-Series, too!
