Most of you are familiar with YouTube from Google. It is probably the biggest online video sharing service. Have you heard about kyte.tv? It is basically also an online video sharing service. The famous podcaster and blogger, Robert Scoble, also has a channel on kyte.tv.
What makes kyt.tv different than YouTube? kyte.tv is more like a personal broadcasting platform that enables us to create our own TV channel. You can produce pictures, videos slide show or even live stream. Best of all, you can do it directly from your S60 phone and your PC. There is a Java application that allows you to create your TV channel. Please go to the address below on your S60 Web browser to download kyte.tv.
What can you do with kyte.tv? You can watch channels and add them to your favourite list.
There is a cool feature, i.e. chat. You can chat on a specific channel to discuss about the channel or a particular show.
As I said above, you can create your own show and broadcast yourself. Surprisingly, it is very easy and fast to create and upload your show. The new show will be published immediately on kyte.tv so that all your friends can watch it right away.
Compatible devices: S60 3rd Edition, Nokia Nseries, Nokia Eseries.

Hi,
Nice review! One of the coolest things about kyte.tv is its ability to chat with not only text, but also audio and video messages. And it’s so easy. I’m actually a kyte user too, and whenever I broadcast a show on the road, I use the audio or video message function to chat. I’m always a little astonished by how easy it works. I’m not used to it…
Have you tried it?
Keep up the great blogging!
