For those who have read my previous posting, Widsets Revisited, please ignore the posting. Somehow, I got confused between S60 Widgets and Widsets. I thought S60 Widgets would be the enhancement of Widsets. I was confused with the following statement on the official Nokia’s press release.

Web Run-Time and widget support will be available to S60 licensees as part of the S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2. Tools, documentation and a software developer kit for widget development will be made available via Forum Nokia during the third quarter 2007. Widgets will be distributed to users through several channels, one of which is WidSets, a popular consumer Internet service, which allows users to personalize their mobile Internet experience.

I got more confused because at the same day Nokia announced Beta Labs, and guess what… one of the applications featured there is Widsets. That’s why, I don’t why my brain thought this would be the next S60 Widgets.
