What is muvee? muvee is actually a company based in Singapore who is a pioneer and leader in automatic video production. However, they are branding “muvee” as videos created by their proprietary technology too.

Based on the style you choose, your images/videos are then cut to the beat of the music with cool effects and transitions. One of my favorite one is Ken Burns Effect, i.e. making still images in motion by displaying them with zooming and panning effects.

What do we have on S60 phones? Nokia has shipped an application, called Movie Director, to create muvee in their S60 phones, such as Nokia 3230, 6630, 6670, 6680, 6681, 6682 and 7610. Note that the first version of Movie Director shipped on Nokia 7610 can only create muvee from videos (images are not supported yet). Some early Nokia N-Series, such as N70 and N90, are also shipped with Movie Director.

The latest Nokia N-Series phones, such as Nokia N73, do not include Movie Director. muvee is now integrated into Gallery application. I would expect that future Nokia N-Series phones will have muvee feature integrated into Gallery application. Here is the steps to create muvee on the latest Nokia N-Series phones:

Launch Gallery application and select Images & videos.
Select two or more videos and/or images. Note that you can select using Options | Mark menu. Alternatively, you can use Edit+OK key to select them (read also my other posting, Shortcut to Select Multiple Items in List Box).

Select Options | Create muvee menu.

Now you can select the style you want to apply to your videos/images. Selecting different style will result in different muvee. Just for your information, I used Photocentric style to create the muvee above.

Now you already create muvee by selecting Options | Create muvee menu.
Furthermore, you can also customize some options, for example change music, add text and specify length. To do it, select Options | Customize.

Compatible devices: Nokia N-Series

Infinite Dreams is one of my favorite game developers. They have released some cool games for S60 phones, for example Super Miners, Sky Force and Sky Force Reloaded.

K-Rally is another cool game from Infinite Dreams. It is a car racing game where you are equipped with mines and rockets. You can make your opponents spin and crash as you bombard them with a barrage of weapons.

One of the most interesting features is the online high scores board. You can compete against other players all around the world.

Unfortunately, there is no trial version of this game. You have to buy it before playing the game. However, you can watch some video trailers from the bonus links below.
