It’s been a while since I posted a blog about Widsets, Interesting Widgets for your S60 Phones. At that time, the service was still in beta phase. The number of widgets was not so many either. A couple of days ago, Nokia officially announced Widsets. They have done some improvements on the service. Besides that, some new cool widgets were released.

Yesterday, I realized that they have introduced some puzzle games too. There are only a few games at the moment, such as Sudoku, Memory and Sliding Puzzle. We may expect to see more and more games on Widsets.

The idea of having small games on Widsets is not bad at all. Unfortunately, the performance of the current games are not so good (too slow). The key presses, for example, is not so responsive. It may be because the games are developed on the top of Widsets that is developed on the top of Java.

Compatible devices: S60 2nd Edition, 3rd Edition, Nokia Nseries, Nokia Eseries.
