In my previous posting, I have discussed about Adobe Flash Lite Exchange, a web site where you can download Flash Lite applications. The next question is how to run them in our S60 phones?

Firstly, you need to transfer the Flash Lite file (.swf) into your phone. You can use Nokia PC Suite to do that. As an example, you can copy the .swf file to your memory card under e:\other.

Once the Flash Lite file is in your phone, then you can use one of the following ways to launch it:

• Flash Player. This application can be found under Media or My Own folder depends on the phone model.

• Gallery. You can also launch Flash Lite application from Gallery application. Go to Presentations folder to launch Flash Lite application.

• File Manager. The last thing that you can use to launch Flash Lite application is, of course, via File Manager.

Compatible devices: S60 3rd, Nokia Nseries, Nokia Eseries.

Talking about third party applications, I have been writing postings about native applications (.sis), Java applications (.jar/.jad) and Widsets so far. Don’t you know that there are many free Flash Lite applications? They are not only simple games, but also productivity, education, business, etc.

What is Flash Lite? Flash Lite is Flash technology, developed by Adobe, specifically for mobile phone and consumer electronic devices. Flash Lite 1.1 has been shipped as a pre-installed application in all S60 3rd devices, including Nokia N-Series and E-Series. Flash Lite 2.0, which is relatively new, is currently available at Adobe Online Store only.

Although this game has been out for about 1 month, I haven’t tried it yet until recently. I Hate Guns! is an action game from Fun and Mobile, a Polish company founded by several young but experience developers.

I Hate Guns! is a combination of action, adventure and fight game. You play a role of McGrady, ex-policeman, who travel to the Near East to find the person who has murdered his former best friend. You will go through deadly desert facing aggressive enemies and deadly animals.

As last words, I Hate Guns! is a simple game, but very addictive.
