In my previous posting, I have discussed about Adobe Flash Lite Exchange, a web site where you can download Flash Lite applications. The next question is how to run them in our S60 phones?
Firstly, you need to transfer the Flash Lite file (.swf) into your phone. You can use Nokia PC Suite to do that. As an example, you can copy the .swf file to your memory card under e:\other.
Once the Flash Lite file is in your phone, then you can use one of the following ways to launch it:
- Flash Player. This application can be found under Media or My Own folder depends on the phone model.
- Gallery. You can also launch Flash Lite application from Gallery application. Go to Presentations folder to launch Flash Lite application.
- File Manager. The last thing that you can use to launch Flash Lite application is, of course, via File Manager.
Compatible devices: S60 3rd, Nokia Nseries, Nokia Eseries.

Nokia 6630 supports Flash Lite 2.1. The Adobe website offers the Flash Lite 2.1 for free download.
For Nokia 6630 Download the N70 compatible one.

I\’m NokiaN80 user. It comes with FlasLite 1 preinstalled. Some swf give me an error when trying to load. It works with newer version such as 2.1 or 3. But the version 1 remains installed (not updated) and so remains as default swf player. why the newers players do not update the older one??! is it possible do this?!
Thanks

@Marco: Unfortunately, it is not possible to remove the old version of Flash Lite because it is on the ROM. I think when Nokia decided to release the original Flash Lite, they don’t have a plan to upgrade it.
