- Nokia Flickr Uploader comes as a plug-in to Gallery application. Unfortunately it is currently available only on the latest Nokia N-Series only, such as Nokia N72, N73 and N93.
- Firstly you need to get user name and password from http://www.flickr.com/tools/lifeblog/ (read also my other posting, How to Flickr from Nokia Lifeblog?).

- Next you need to enter the settings into Flickr Uploader. To do that, run Gallery application and choose Images & video.
- Select Options | Open online services menu and then create a new Flickr account.

- Once you have entered the settings, you are ready to flickr your pictures.
- Choose the picture from the Gallery application and then select Options | Send | Web upload menu.
Compatible device: Nokia N73, N93.
Update (04-Feb-2007): Darla Mack has good tutorial how to tag your images, Tagging Images from Your Nseries to Flickr. I really recommend her posting.

Hi.
I was looking for a way to directly blog from my N93 via Flickr and it took me a lot to figure out how, so I wrote about it in my blog. Maybe you would like to have an article about it.

Hi Antony.
Thank you. I read often your blog so I’m glad to have given my contribution.
I still have a couple of “open points” on the online services from the gallery:
- I cannot enter any carriage return in my blog posts from my phone. I enter them, but they get lost once the post is uploaded so I have to edit my posts again on the blogging platform. Quite annoying.
- I cannote make so that the blog post has a bigger thumbnail of my picture.
Do you happen to have any clue about these problems?
Cheers,
alfonso

@alfonso: I think that is how Flickr Uploader is designed. We can just hope that Nokia will fix this problem in the future release.

Does anyone know why the uploader issues a HEAD request after it is done uploading? What is the response to this supposed to be? Apparently, the uploader is looking for something specific because it either hangs or gives an error if what it’s looking for isn’t returned …
