SmartMovie for Symbian OS is a video player application for Symbian OS phones, including S60 phones. It has PC application running on Windows that is able to convert video clips from many different formats for playback on your phone. It is definitely one of the most popular video player and converter applications for S60. One thing that I really like from this software is the video quality produced by the PC converter.
Note that Lonely Cat Games, the developer of SmartMovie, recently released a new version for S60 3rd Edition phones.
Compatible devices: S60 1st, 2nd, 3rd Edition, Nokia Nseries Nokia Eseries.

You have to download the software to your PC first and then extract it there. After that, transfer the .sis file to your phone via Bluetooth or USB.

Heyy, good news, appeared pocket Divx player from Divx developers
same features as smart movie but less bugs and FREE!!!

@manoj: If you want free converter, please try Media Coder (http://www.s60tips.com/2006/09/30/converting-your-movies-for-divx-player-for-s60/). Then use DivX Player, which is also freely available.

@DJPLATAS: Please note that SmartMovie is not freeware. You have to pay in order to get the serial number.
Alternatively, you can also use DivX Player for Mobile, which is free (http://www.s60tips.com/2006/09/29/featured-freeware-divx-player-for-s60/).

@ajay: Note that SmartMovies is not a free. You have to pay it. There is an alternative solution, such as DivX (http://www.s60tips.com/2007/01/10/new-divx-player-for-mobile/) or RealPlayer (http://www.s60tips.com/2006/12/07/converting-your-videos-to-realplayer/).

@Shihab: Make sure that you install SmartMovie for S60 2nd Edition. If you install other versions, it won’t work.
